desirable. The D-40R can effectively achieve complete coverage in big and tall trees. Citrus, almonds,

pistachios, tree fruit, cherries, apples, and smaller varieties of walnuts are just few of the trees

this machine serves. The D-40R is powered with a fuel-efficient John Deere® 156-horsepower turbo

diesel engine, Myers® 2-stage centrifugal pump, and a 40" diameter "reverse" axial flow steel fan. 
Air-O-Fan's reverse fan housing design eliminates chemical recirculation and debris from the tree
canopy being sucked back into the sprayer (commonly found with rear suction type sprayers which
causes a loss of performance) because the air suction is taken from ahead of the air discharge and

nylon adjustable air vanes with individual shut off valves and ceramic nozzles direct the air and material

to the desired location of the canopy for superb coverage, reducing chemical usage and drift.
